Google to Unveil Pixel 10 Series on August 20, India Launch Set for Following Day

Google has confirmed the launch of its Pixel 10 series at the upcoming “Made by Google” event on August 20, 2025. The smartphone range will include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The India rollout is expected to begin on August 21.

Design, Display & AI Features

  • Models retain design themes from the Pixel 9, but with enhancements such as a new telephoto lens on the base Pixel 10, marking a shift to triple rear cameras.
  • Leaked renders show vibrant colour options, Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, Limoncello for the Pixel 10; and Porcelain, Jade, Moonstone, Obsidian for Pro variants.
  • A new virtual assistant, Pixel Sense, along with voice-based tools like “Speak-to-Tweak” and real-time image suggestions, point to deeper AI integration.

Performance & Charging

  • All models are expected to run on the new Tensor G5 chipset made with TSMC’s 3nm process for faster and more efficient performance.
  • The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is tipped to support Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic alignment for up to 15W, alongside IP68-rated durability, a first for a Pixel foldable.

Display & Battery

  • The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to have a 6.4″ cover screen and an 8″ internal panel, both delivering up to 3000 nits brightness and 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Battery capacities across the range are rumoured as follows:
    • Pixel 10: ~4,835mAh (A-rated efficiency)
    • Pro: ~4,707mAh
    • Pro XL: ~5,078mAh (B-rated efficiency)
