Apple Inc. has announced strong results for the third quarter of financial year 2025, with record iPhone sales and growing revenue from services. The company’s total revenue reached $94 billion, beating market expectations.
Apple’s net income rose to about $23.4 billion, helped by higher demand for iPhones, Macs, and services like the App Store and iCloud.
“We saw iPhone growth in every part of the world and set revenue records in more than 24 countries, including India, the U.S., Canada, and South Asia,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Key Highlights:
- iPhone sales: $44.6 billion (13% growth)
- Services revenue: $27.4 billion (record high)
- Total revenue: $94 billion
- Net profit: $23.4 billion
- Gross margin: 46.5%
Apple also saw double-digit growth in emerging markets such as India, the Middle East, South Asia, and Brazil. The company plans to open new Apple Stores in India and the UAE later this year.
Mr. Cook warned about rising costs due to global trade tariffs. Apple paid around $800 million in tariffs in the June quarter and expects an extra $1.1 billion in the September quarter if current policies stay the same.
“The global tariff situation is evolving,” Cook added.
Apple is also increasing spending on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is working on improving Siri and other AI tools for future updates. The company may also invest in AI startups to stay competitive with Google and Microsoft.
