The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has initiated the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign from September 17 to October 2, 2024, under the theme “Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata.” As part of this initiative, all 21 Regions of SBI will identify two cleanliness target units and engage staff in cleaning efforts.
In Bhubaneswar, Dinesh Pruthi, CGM of SBI Bhubaneswar Circle, launched the cleanliness activities on Saturday with a shramdaan event, focusing on the Khandagiri monument area. He was joined by GM (NW-I) Ponnambalam M, GM (NW-II) Kaushal Kishore Singh, along with DGMs and other officials from LHO/AO Bhubaneswar and nearby branches.
To raise awareness for the campaign, a walkathon was also organized, attracting over 150 staff members who actively participated from 8 AM to 10 AM.
