Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an article that talks about the steady growth in India’s agriculture sector. The article was written by Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who explained how recent reforms and farmer-friendly steps are helping Indian agriculture grow.
The Prime Minister praised the article and posted on social media X:

The article highlights how the government has taken many steps to support farmers, improve rural infrastructure, and make farming more modern and profitable. These include:
- Providing better prices for crops
- Expanding irrigation systems
- Promoting organic and natural farming
- Making crop insurance and digital services easier for farmers to access
The main goal of all these efforts is to help farmers earn more, reduce poverty in villages, and contribute to the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by the year 2047, when India celebrates 100 years of independence.
This shows how agriculture continues to be an important part of India’s growth story.
