A Symbol of Public Service, Eco-Friendly Design and National Development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated Kartavya Bhawan, a newly constructed government building, and dedicated it to the people of India. He called it a symbol of the country’s strong commitment to public service, development, and self-reliance.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that Kartavya Bhawan will help in the faster implementation of policies and schemes that directly benefit citizens. It will also act as a powerful push toward India’s growth journey.
“Kartavya Bhawan reflects our commitment to building a Viksit Bharat a developed and self-reliant India,” PM Modi said.
Honouring India’s Workforce
PM Modi specially acknowledged the role of the Shramyogis (workers) who built the Bhawan. He said that the building is a testament to their tireless hard work and dedication, and that the entire nation is proud of their contribution.
“The country has witnessed the dedication of our Shramyogis. I was happy to interact with them today,” he shared.
A Green Building for the Future
Kartavya Bhawan has been designed with a focus on eco-friendly and sustainable construction. The Prime Minister said that protecting the environment is one of the Government’s top priorities, and this building is a step in that direction.
“Every effort has been made to ensure environmental protection in the construction of Kartavya Bhawan,” he noted.
As a gesture of this commitment, PM Modi also planted a sapling within the premises of the new building.
