The BHASKAR platform (Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry), launched by the Government of India, is helping startups and ecosystem partners collaborate more effectively across the country.
As of June 30, 2025, a total of 1,97,932 startups have registered on the BHASKAR platform. This initiative is part of the Startup India Mission, and currently operates in a pilot phase.
What is BHASKAR?
BHASKAR is a digital registry that connects:
- Startups
- Incubators
- Accelerators
- Colleges/Universities
- State Startup Agencies
- Industry Partners
It supports peer-to-peer networking, partnerships, personalized IDs, and has microsites for scheme implementation.

Outreach & Awareness Drive
The Government is taking steps to spread awareness about BHASKAR by:
- Organizing workshops and events across states/UTs
- Using social media and info sessions
- Partnering with state nodal agencies, colleges, and incubators
