MOIL (Manganese Ore India Limited) is a government-owned company that mines manganese, a metal used in making steel and batteries.
It has made a new record by producing 1.45 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in July 2025. This is 12% more than what the company produced in the same month last year.
Even though there was heavy rain, MOIL worked hard and showed great performance between April and July 2025.
In these four months, the company:
- Produced 6.47 lakh tonnes of manganese (up by 7.8% compared to last year)
- Sold 5.01 lakh tonnes of ore (10.7% more than last year)
- Did 43,215 meters of drilling work to explore new reserves (11.4% more)
The Chairman and Managing Director of MOIL, Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, praised the team and thanked them for working so well even during tough weather conditions.
With this strong start to FY26, MOIL is aiming for even higher production in the coming months.
