Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the Victoris, its new flagship compact SUV for the Arena dealership network, marking a bold step in the company’s global strategy. Designed as a world-class product, the Victoris will not only target the booming Indian mid-size SUV market but also be exported to more than 100 countries.
Positioned against popular rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate, the Victoris aims to redefine Maruti Suzuki’s SUV portfolio with advanced technology, premium features, and top-notch safety.
Powertrain, Mileage & Safety
The Victoris comes with three powertrain options like 1.5-litre petrol, CNG, and strong hybrid offering buyers a wide spectrum of performance and efficiency. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, and an e-CVT transmission for the hybrid version.
For enthusiasts, Maruti is also offering an All-Grip AWD variant, a rare feature in this segment. Depending on the variant, the SUV delivers a mileage of up to 28.65 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in India.
Safety is another strong suit, as the Victoris has secured a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, placing it among the safest models from Maruti Suzuki to date.

The Victoris will be available in a total of 10 colour options, including monotone and stylish dual-tone shades:

Customers can also choose from six trims, catering to different budget ranges: LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi (O), ZXi+, and ZXi+ (O).
Premium Features & Comfort
Inside, the Victoris offers a modern digital cockpit with a 10.25-inch driver’s display and a large infotainment touchscreen loaded with 35 pre-installed apps. The system supports Alexa voice commands, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and Suzuki Connect with over 60 connected features.
Creature comforts include 64-colour ambient lighting, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, an 8-way powered and ventilated driver’s seat, and a gesture-powered smart tailgate. Cabin air quality is enhanced with a PM 2.5 filter, while entertainment is powered by an 8-speaker Infinity sound system with Dolby Atmos.
Market Positioning & Outlook
With a competitive price band expected in the ₹10–18 lakh (ex-showroom) range, the Victoris is positioned to take on the best-selling models in the segment.
