IREDA Signs MoU with MNRE, Sets ₹8,200 Crore Revenue Target for FY 2025-26

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has signed a performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for the financial year 2025-26.

The MoU was signed in New Delhi by Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE, and Pradip Kumar Das, CMD of IREDA, in the presence of senior officials.

As per the agreement, IREDA has been given a revenue target of ₹8,200 crore for 2025-26. Last year, IREDA had crossed its set target by earning ₹6,743 crore against the goal of ₹5,957 crore.

The MoU also includes performance measures such as Return on Net Worth, Return on Capital Employed, NPA ratio, Asset Turnover, and EBTDA.

CMD Pradip Kumar Das said that IREDA is confident of continuing its strong performance. The company has received an ‘Excellent’ rating for four years in a row since 2020-21 and was ranked as the top performer in the NBFC and Power sector in FY 2023-24.
