TVS Motor Company has launched its newest electric scooter, named TVS Orbiter, in India today. Positioned below the iQube, this scooter aims to offer an affordable and practical option for everyday commuters and young riders.

- Starting price: ₹99,900 (ex-showroom).
- Available in two color schemes and six variants.

Design & Features
- Features a clean, minimalist design, different from the iQube’s more angular look.
- Includes LED headlamps, DRLs, and a digital (non-touch) console for simplicity.
- Comes with 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels, 165 mm ground clearance, and 34-litre under-seat storage.
Performance & Specifications
- Uses a hub-mounted motor paired with a 2 kWh battery, offering a range suited for daily urban use estimated around 75–85 km.
- Simpler build with fewer features than iQube helps keep costs lower.
Positioning & Competition
- The Orbiter is the entry-level electric scooter in TVS’s lineup, costing less than the iQube (₹1–1.6 lakh range).
- It competes with other budget EVs like Ola S1 X, Vida VX2, and lower variants of the Bajaj Chetak
