Nothing’s first over-ear headphones launched with KEF audio and unique design

Nothings first over ear headphones

Nothing Headphone (1) is the company’s first over-ear wireless headphone, launched alongside the Nothing Phone (3) on July 1, 2025, with global availability starting July 15. Priced at ₹21,999 in India (or $299 internationally), this headphone offers a premium design and advanced features at a price that’s lower than most high-end brands like Sony or Bose.

The headphone has a unique transparent design with visible internal parts, staying true to Nothing’s signature style. It has soft memory foam cushions and an aluminum frame for comfort during long use. Unlike most wireless headphones, it comes with three physical controls, a roller for volume and playback, a paddle to skip tracks or rewind, and a custom button for voice assistants or switching audio apps quickly. This makes it easier to control music or calls without fiddling with touch controls.

For sound quality, it features large 40mm drivers co-developed with high-end audio company KEF, promising deep bass, clear vocals, and detailed sound. It supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 42dB, Transparency Mode, Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, USB-C lossless audio, and even has a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it versatile for all kinds of users.

The battery life is another big highlight, up to 35 hours with ANC on, and a massive 80 hours with ANC off. A quick 5-minute charge gives around 2.5 hours of playback, which is perfect when you’re in a rush. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.3, supports dual-device pairing, and has an IP52 rating for protection against dust and light splashes.

Thus, Nothing Headphone (1) gives you top-quality sound, strong noise cancellation, long battery life, and a cool design, all for ₹21,999. It’s a great option for people who want high-end headphones for music, work, or travel, without spending ₹30,000 or more.
