Maitreyee Mishra, Assistant General Secretary of Jindal Foundation, has been awarded the Women in CSR Award by FICCI FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). She received the honor from Dr. Harjinder Kaur Talwar, Vice President of CMSME FICCI FLO, at a ceremony in Bhubaneswar.
Maitreyee was recognized for her remarkable contributions to social welfare, particularly her leadership in the Mission Zero Hunger initiative and various women empowerment programs under the Jindal Foundation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a key role in providing over 10 million hot meals to migrants and vulnerable communities across India.
Expressing her gratitude, Maitreyee thanked FICCI FLO for the recognition and acknowledged Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of Jindal Foundation, for her continuous support and inspiration. She also extended her appreciation to Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power, for his visionary leadership in driving impactful social initiatives.
Additionally, she credited the Jindal Foundation team and local communities for their collaboration in implementing inclusive programs aimed at creating sustainable change.
