India Post has started using a new digital system called Advanced Postal Technology (APT) in all its post offices across the country. This change is part of a plan to make postal services faster, smarter, and more helpful for people.

There are over 1.64 lakh post offices in India, including in cities, villages, and faraway areas. Because this change is so big, there were some delays on the first day of the update (4th August). But the technical team worked all night and fixed the issue by the next day (5th August).

To make sure everything runs smoothly, special support teams and live monitoring have been set up. The new system now helps with faster work, better digital payments, real-time tracking, and an overall smoother experience for users.

On 5th August alone, over 20 lakh parcels were booked, and 25 lakh were delivered using the new system.

India Post has thanked all citizens for their support and patience and promises to keep improving the service with this digital upgrade.
