Apple is preparing to launch its much-awaited iPhone 17 series in September, and fresh leaks have now revealed the expected pricing for the Indian market.
According to reports, the iPhone 17 base model is likely to be priced at around ₹83,300, a slight increase from last year’s iPhone 16 which started at ₹79,900. The new lineup will also include a slim iPhone 17 Air, expected to cost between ₹90,000 and ₹1,00,000.
For premium buyers, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will see a price hike of about ₹4,000 – ₹5,000. The Pro models will start with 256GB storage, dropping the 128GB variant. The iPhone 17 Pro Max could cross ₹1.6 lakh for higher configurations, making it one of the most expensive iPhones ever sold in India.
Industry insiders say the increase comes as Apple upgrades its technology, with a thinner design, brighter display, improved cameras, and longer battery life.
The iPhone 17 series will compete with Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and OnePlus 13 in the Indian flagship smartphone market.
