East Coast Railway (ECoR) delivered an impressive performance at the recently concluded All India Railway Boxing Championship, securing four medals. The Men’s Team earned two Silver medals, while the Women’s Team captured one Silver and one Bronze, showcasing their grit and determination on a national stage.
In recognition of their achievements, six exceptional athletes — three from the Men’s Team and three from the Women’s Team — have been selected to represent the National Boxing Team, marking a significant milestone for ECoR.
At a function in Bhubaneswar, ECoR General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal personally felicitated the victorious boxers, commending their hard work and dedication. He extended his best wishes for their future endeavours and encouraged them to continue bringing pride to both the railway and the nation.
