Xiaomi has launched its latest Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone in China on February 27, 2025. It joins the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in the company’s premium phone lineup. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is the upgraded version of last year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra and comes ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona.
Features
The display and software of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling smooth. The display is very bright, reaching 3,200 nits, and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for better colors and contrast. The phone runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, Xiaomi’s latest operating system.
The performance and storage of the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is very fast and efficient. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, ensuring smooth performance and enough space for apps, photos, and videos. The Adreno 830 GPU enhances gaming and graphics performance.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has four cameras on the back, housed in a circular module in the center. The setup includes:

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a powerful 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, 80W wireless fast charging, and reverse wireless charging, allowing it to charge other devices.
Connectivity and Security
The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C for fast connections. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and an IP68 rating, making it dust and water-resistant.
Size and Weight
The black and white models measure 161.3mm x 75.3mm x 9.35mm and weigh 226g. Other color variants are slightly thicker (9.48mm) and heavier (229g).
Price
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is priced in China starting at CNY 6,499 (around ₹78,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Other configurations include the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model priced at CNY 6,999 (around ₹84,000) and the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant available for CNY 7,799 (around ₹93,000).
The smartphone comes in multiple color options, including black, silver, pine green, cypress green, and white. Additionally, Xiaomi offers a Professional Imaging Kit as an accessory for CNY 999 (around ₹12,000).
