The main points of the economic policy of the BJP-led administration were presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
“There will be a rapid transformation in public transportation in the country and the footprints of technology will be seen in many sectors,” the prime minister stated in the Rajya Sabha during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address.
The Prime Minister noted that India’s rise to the third rank in terms of GDP will benefit both the country and the world at large.
“Our economy has moved from the 10th to the 5th position in the world, and we now have the mandate to make India the third largest economy,” Prime Minister Modi declared.
The Prime Minister continued, “The chance presented to us for the third time by the nation’s citizens is to strengthen the determination to realize the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
He claimed that the journey toward achieving this goal would be strengthened by his government’s return for a third term.
The Prime Minister enumerated the government’s accomplishments and stated that although the UPA’s loan waiver program only benefited 3 crore farmers, the NDA’s PM-Kisan scheme has benefited over 10 crore farmers.
He claimed that by implementing micro planning from the farm to the market, the government had improved the agricultural industry.
He continued, “The people of the nation have supported the work done by the BJP-led NDA government in the last ten years.”
