Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art light motor vehicle (LMV) and heavy motor vehicle (HMV) simulation training centre at its Jharsuguda plant. This new facility underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing operational safety, developing driver skills, and maintaining high standards in the transportation sector.

The advanced training centre features sophisticated simulators that provide highly realistic training experiences for both LMV and HMV operators. Its primary goal is to refine driving skills, reduce operational risks, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols. By offering hands-on training in a controlled environment, the centre aims to improve essential driving competencies and overall road safety.

This initiative demonstrates our steadfast commitment to operational safety. We believe this centre will play a crucial role in advancing road safety practices within our operations and setting new industry standards with a stronger focus on safety, skill development, and logistics improvement.”

The simulation training centre is part of Vedanta Aluminium’s broader efforts to reinforce its safety-centric culture.
