Jharsuguda, Feb 12
Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, observed National Deworming Day by organizing a large-scale deworming drive in partnership with the District Health Department. The event was held at Ghanshyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir School, where over 1,300 students received deworming tablets and suspension medicine to prevent parasitic infections and improve child nutrition.

During the program, speakers highlighted the importance of deworming in boosting children’s immunity, cognitive development, and overall health. To aid the process, students were provided nutritious refreshments before taking the medicine.
The session also featured an interactive Q&A, where students engaged with health experts to understand the benefits of deworming. The event concluded with a pledge to promote awareness and ensure regular follow-ups.
