In a significant initiative to enhance youth employability, TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) has launched a 19-day technical training program at the Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in Rourkela. The program commenced on September 23, with an initial batch of 34 students.
This collaboration is part of the Government of Odisha’s ‘Skilled in Odisha’ initiative, designed to align educational outcomes with industry needs in the power sector. The training will utilize modules based on the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), ensuring high-quality instruction and hands-on experience.
TPWODL’s initiative not only aims to equip students with practical skills but also supports the broader goal of creating a self-reliant nation by developing a skilled workforce in Western Odisha.
