TPSODL sensitizes

BERHAMPUR, NOV 9

As part of its Vigilance Awareness Month celebrations, TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organized a series of street plays and community sensitization programs across Southern Odisha, promoting values of integrity, transparency, and ethical governance. The initiative aims to combat corruption through direct engagement with local communities and public education.

The street plays were performed in eight districts — Bhanjanagar, Boudh, Aska, Berhampur, Phulbani, Digapahandi, Koraput, and Rayagada —reaching urban, block, and rural areas alike. The performances captivated audiences in cities as well as remote villages, sparking important discussions on the dangers of corruption and the importance of maintaining integrity.

Special programs targeting rural areas included Integrity Pledge sessions at the gram panchayat level, reaching places like Sandhubadi, Jirang, Guntuna, Boriguma, Kaptiguda, and Kotpad. These events educated citizens on identifying corrupt practices and understanding the role of integrity in fostering a better society. TPSODL also engaged students through lectures in schools and colleges across Jeypore, Berhampur, and Rayagada, emphasizing the crucial role of youth in building a corruption-free future.

Through these initiatives, TPSODL is strengthening its commitment to creating a corruption-free, transparent society, empowering communities with the knowledge to stand against unethical practices and fostering a culture of accountability across Southern Odisha.
