TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has inaugurated a new Hands-on Technical Training Center (HoTT) and a Tamper Testing Lab in Ambagada, Berhampur. The facilities were officially opened by TPSODL Board Director Arun Kumar Panda, and CEO Amit Kumar Garg, marking a commitment to enhance workforce skills and ensure meter integrity in Southern Odisha.
The HoTT Center will provide practical training for TPSODL’s technical staff, focusing on real-world applications and safety, in line with the company’s “Mission Zero Harm” vision.
The Tamper Testing Lab will safeguard electricity meter integrity by repairing and re-certifying defective meters, as well as enabling quicker detection of meter tampering.
“We are setting new standards for operational excellence in Southern Odisha by empowering our workforce and ensuring the integrity of our metering systems,” said Amit Kumar Garg.
