BERHAMPUR, OCT 7
In a strong display of commitment to community empowerment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organized an NGO Meet under the TVW-22 initiative. The event aimed to honour and strengthen partnerships with local NGOs, serving as a platform for sharing experiences and fostering collaboration.
The meeting brought together five prominent NGOs — Pratham Education Foundation, Pragati, ALIG, Aident, and PREM NGO — all of which have been instrumental in implementing TPSODL’s CSR initiatives throughout Southern Odisha. Their efforts focus on education, skill development, healthcare, and social welfare, successfully delivering programs like digital literacy for underprivileged groups and livelihood opportunities for women’s self-help groups.
The forum enabled NGOs to present their ongoing projects, share best practices, and identify challenges and opportunities to enhance their impact.
TPSODL CEO Amit Kumar Garg emphasized the importance of these partnerships during a telephonic address, saying, “Together, we are making significant strides in addressing social challenges faced by communities in Southern Odisha.”
