The defence division of the Adani Group, Adani Defence & Aerospace, has inked a deal with the Thales Group to produce 70mm rockets in India, which is a significant boost to the government’s drive for domestic manufacturing.
According to Thales, “this partnership allows us to strengthen our partner network worldwide in addition to being significant for our commitment to India.”

Adani Defence & Aerospace, part of the Adani Group, is a pioneer in the design, development and manufacturing of state-of-the-art defence products.
Earlier this month, the company signed a significant agreement with EDGE Group – one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence groups in the UAE.
The agreement intends to create a worldwide platform by utilizing the aerospace and defense expertise of both businesses to combine their own product portfolios and meet local and international client needs.
