Tata Steel Foundation Jyoti Fellowship

Tata Steel Foundation held the Jyoti Fellowship Examination, offering merit-based scholarships to over 1,200 students from economically disadvantaged Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) families. The exams took place across 15 centres in the Danagadi and Sukinda blocks of Jajpur district, aiming to empower students to pursue their educational goals.

The initiative provides financial assistance to meritorious students in Class 8, as well as first-year undergraduates and postgraduates from 50 schools and 12 colleges.

Last year, 1,281 students received the Fellowship, with over 70 per cent being girls, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to promoting education for females in rural and tribal areas.
