After sending the first installment of 25 lakh 29 thousand 720 beneficiaries to their bank accounts in the first phase of the state government’s major social welfare scheme “Subhadra” which provides financial assistance to women, the Deputy Chief Government Secretary of the Development Commission Mr. Mati Anugarg has reviewed the situation in a meeting regarding the preparation of the state government to send this money to the beneficiaries in the second phase . In the presence of Mrs. Tigarg , Chief Secretary , State Information and Public Relations Department , Mrs. Shudsha Sharma , Director of the Department, Mrs. Monisha Banerjee , the first installment amount was deposited in the beneficiary’s bank account Discussed with business team regarding cancellation .
It is worth noting that the target of the state government is to provide the first installment to all the remaining beneficiaries before March 8, 2025 . Honorable Deputy Prime Minister Mrs. Panagi Parida has announced that the first installment of the second phase will be distributed to the beneficiaries on October 9 .
In this context, the process is underway to send the first installment amount to as many potential beneficiaries as possible in the 2nd phase on October 9 . So far about 98 lakh applicants have registered in Subhadra. All concerned have been advised to complete the necessary arrangements by October 6 .
Along with this, Shrimati Garg of the Development Commission advised to arrange a feedback monitoring process for the beneficiaries who have received the first installment in the first phase . In this process, it was discussed in the meeting that the beneficiaries who have received the first installment of money , how this financial assistance has helped them in their lives , etc. It is also recommended to continue the public awareness program related to ‘ Subhadra ‘ by the Information and Public Relations Department .
