The Acharya Harihar Govt. High School at Benupur in Khorda, has received a significant boost to its educational infrastructure thanks to a generous contribution from the State Bank of India (SBI), Bhubaneswar Circle. Under the SBI Children’s Welfare Fund, the school has been equipped with a range of essential items, including science workshop equipment, library books, computer tables, chairs, desks, benches, 34 fans, a sound system, and school bags.
A special ceremony was held on Tuesday, at the school, presided over by Ganesh Karan, Head Master of Acharya Harihar Govt. High School. The event was honoured by the presence of Dinesh Pruthi, Chief General Manager of SBI Bhubaneswar Circle, and Manoj Kumar Singh, Circle Development Officer. Other notable attendees included the President and Secretary of the SBI Staff and Officer Association, along with students, teachers, and parents.
During the ceremony, Dinesh Pruthi emphasized the bank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and encouraged students to overcome challenges and pursue excellence. The initiative was met with widespread appreciation from the school’s staff, parents, and the local community of Benupur, highlighting the positive impact of SBI’s CSR efforts on educational development in the region.
