PM Modi inaugurates Vantara

New Delhi, Mar 4

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This initiative, led by Anant Ambani and his team, provides a safe home for rescued animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare.

During his visit, PM Modi shared emotional stories of animals being rescued and cared for at Vantara. He saw an elephant that was a victim of an acid attack, another that was blinded by its own handler, and one that was injured by a speeding truck. Similarly, a lioness suffering from severe spinal injuries after being hit by a vehicle is receiving proper medical care. A leopard cub, abandoned by its family, has found a new home at Vantara with the necessary nutrition and care.

The Prime Minister praised Vantara for its efforts in protecting and healing animals and urged people to be more compassionate toward wildlife. He emphasized that cruelty towards animals must stop and encouraged kindness and responsibility. This initiative reflects India’s long-standing tradition of coexisting with nature and sets an example for wildlife conservation.
