The CEO of citizen-centric platform MyGov, Akash Tripathi, promised to work towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047, even as the site celebrated ten years of participatory governance on Friday.

Through its social media channels, the platform hopes to engage with each and every citizen.

It promotes effective governance and gives citizens more ability to interact with the government.

Since its July 26, 2014 launch, more than 30.0 million people have registered on MyGov.

“Happy Birthday to MyGov! Thanks to you, our stats are off the charts!” the post on X, where it has 3.3 million followers, stated.

Designed as a platform for citizen involvement, MyGov works with several ministries and government agencies to involve citizens in the creation of policies.

Additionally, it asks for people’s thoughts on a range of matters pertaining to the welfare and public interest.
“I want to thank all the citizens who have participated in this adventure. Tripathi, CEO of MyGov, continued, “Let’s keep building our thriving community and work together towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047.”

The portal is utilized by multiple government ministries for both policy formation consultations and citizen engagement initiatives.

Additionally, it serves as a channel for sharing information about plans and initiatives.

The platform interacts with residents through a variety of means, including conversations, assignments, polls, surveys, blogs, speeches, pledges, quizzes, and in-person events.

MyGov is well-represented on X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, among other social media networks.

Additionally, it is quite prevalent on a number of Indian social media networks, including Bolo Indya, Sharechat, Chingari, Roposo, and Mitron.
