On Wednesday, Kinder Liu, the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the international technology company OnePlus, announced that the Open Apex Edition is a premium foldable that combines the most advanced technology with digital medium format cameras and lenses from leading Swedish producer Hasselblad.

Liu stated in a statement that the series has garnered a great deal of praise from viewers all throughout the world since its debut last year.

The new OnePlus Open Apex Edition, he said, “builds on what made the original the best foldable smartphone of 2023 for so many people by offering a more luxurious option with enhanced storage, AI image editing features, privacy, and security.”

Arriving in a Crimson Shadow finish is the Open Apex Edition. The gadget features a brilliant orange accent and diamond-like pattern on the Alert Slider, as well as a CD pattern that reflects light brilliantly on the camera dial, which is housed in an exquisite glass dome.

“Through AI-powered image editing features like AI Eraser and AI Smart Cutout, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition is designed to deliver effortless efficiency and an enhanced photography experience that empowers users to create stunning images with ease,” said the company.

The company said that the device starts at Rs 1,49,999, and will be available across online and offline stores, with sale beginning from August 10.
