The ‘Financial Year Book’ for Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was officially released by Atanu Bhowmick, Director In Charge of RSP, during a ceremony held at the Rourkela Club on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, Bhowmick highlighted the crucial role of the Finance team, especially during challenging periods marked by rising input costs, fluctuating demand, and the cyclical nature of the steel market. He emphasized that the Financial Year Book will serve as a valuable repository of data, offering insights and analyses of the organization’s financial trends and costs, which will be instrumental in shaping future strategies.
At the outset, Executive Director (F&A) AK Behuria welcomed the attendees and discussed the vital role of finance professionals in achieving company objectives and production milestones. He reaffirmed the Finance department’s commitment to providing solutions and support to help achieve the organization’s overall goals. Behuria also reviewed the contents of the Financial Year Book 2023-24, which includes detailed information on cost structures, techno-economic parameters, sensitivity analysis, manpower, and additional data on production and saleable products.
The event was attended by all executives working in various financial roles at RSP.
