Enrollment Subhadra Yojana

In a significant milestone for women’s empowerment in Odisha, the enrollment in the Subhadra Yojana has surpassed an impressive 1 crore, with 1 crore 20 thousand women beneficiaries officially registered.

This remarkable achievement marks a pivotal step forward in the commitment to uplifting women in Odisha, empowering them with the resources and support they need to thrive.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women and Child Development, Pravati Parida, heralded this achievement as a testament to the success of the initiative launched under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will kick off the second phase of the Subhadra Yojana by distributing the first installment to over 35 lakh beneficiaries in Baripada on October 9. This event is poised to further enhance financial support for women across the state, fostering their independence and contributing to their overall welfare.

To ensure transparency in the program, the government previously conducted a verification process by sending a nominal amount of Re. 1 to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries in the first phase. However, officials have clarified that this procedure will not be repeated in the second phase. They urge the public to be cautious of misleading information circulating on social media and rely on verified sources for updates.

For the latest information regarding the Subhadra Yojana, beneficiaries and interested individuals are encouraged to visit the official Subhadra website, follow its social media channels, or contact the toll-free number 14678.
