The IT Ministry announced on Saturday that DigiLocker, the premier e-governance platform, is providing digital tools to millions of individuals to make their life easier.
“Ask Our Experts,” a special weekly live program from the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), a division of the IT Ministry, was streamed on Digital India’s YouTube page, drawing thousands of viewers from all over the nation.
Regarding several facets of the DigiLocker platform, viewers excitedly asked the experts direct questions.
The government claims that the specialists led an enlightening conversation and gave a thorough presentation regarding DigiLocker’s features and advantages.
Thousands of residents from all throughout the nation tuned in live, demonstrating the session’s tremendous engagement. Regarding several facets of the DigiLocker platform, viewers excitedly asked the experts direct questions.
Nine active users were named “Digital India Question Ninjas” for posing thought-provoking and pertinent questions, and the program demonstrated a high level of participation.
According to the ministry, the series intends to demystify important projects under the “Digital India” plan and provide viewers with an opportunity to hear directly from the professionals who oversee and conduct these game-changing initiatives.
Users will be able to manage numerous services from a single platform thanks to the government’s recent announcement that the UMANG app will be integrated with DigiLocker, the country’s digital wallet.
According to NeGD, the partnership intends to give citizens easy access to a variety of government services, increasing convenience.
DigiLocker is an essential component of the government’s Digital India Infrastructure (DPI), a safe cloud-based platform for document and certificate distribution, storage, and verification. Currently, it serves 300 million users and stores around 6.75 billion documents.
