New Delhi, Oct 22
On Tuesday, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) unveiled seven new projects that will transform India’s communication, connectivity, and digital security.
Three main pillars serve as the foundation for the new initiatives: security, affordability, and dependability.
Additionally, BSNL revealed a new logo that reflects its renewed commitment to providing dependable, reasonably priced, and secure connectivity to all regions of India. In the presence of Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, Minister of State for Communications, Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia unveiled the logo.
The striking slogan “Connecting Bharat” emphasizes BSNL’s steadfast goal of closing the digital gap by providing a cutting-edge, dependable telecom network that links India’s cities and rural areas.
According to BSNL, its spam-blocking solution automatically filters out harmful SMS and phishing attempts, making it safer for users to communicate without having to notify clients. This ensures that all users may communicate securely and seamlessly.
“For its FTTH customers, BSNL is introducing a first-of-its-kind seamless Wi-Fi roaming service that will minimize data costs for users by enabling high-speed internet access at BSNL hotspots at no additional cost,” the statement continued.
Through its FTTH network, BSNL’s fiber-based intranet TV service provides over 500 live channels in addition to Pay TV.
All BSNL FTTH customers will be able to use this service without paying extra. According to BSNL, the FTTH data pack will not be used to consume the data used for TV viewing.
In collaboration with C-DAC, BSNL has implemented dependable, low-latency, 5G connectivity for mining operations by utilizing BSNL’s technological know-how and equipment manufactured in India.
Advanced AI and IoT applications, such safety analytics, real-time remote control of AGVs, AR-enabled remote maintenance, fleet tracking and optimization, etc., are made possible by this service in big opencast and underground mines that need high-speed, low latency connectivity.
