The Center announced on Sunday that in honor of the 2024 Paris Olympics, a set of commemorative postage stamps will be released on Monday.
In the presence of Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour and Employment, and Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Communications & Development of North Eastern Region, the Department of Posts will commemorate postage stamps.
The Department of Posts said on the X social media platform, “Join us on August 5 at 12:00 PM for the release of the commemorative postage stamp celebrating the XXXIII Olympics Paris 2024.”
Well-known sports figures will add even more value to the occasion.
The commemorative stamp, according to the government, symbolizes international cooperation and the spirit of sportsmanship as nations unite for the Olympic Games in Paris.
The stamp pays homage to the athletes and their commitment, tenacity, and sporting prowess.
