Hero MotoCorp will launch the Karizma XMR 250 this year in February 2025. Most probably the price may range between ₹200,000 and ₹220,000. The bikes Hero Karizma XMR, Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel, Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Yamaha R15 V4, and KTM 200 Duke are the alternative ones with whom it will compete in the market. Also similar to this bike, another upcoming model, the Hero Karizma 400, is set to launch in October 2026.

Powering the bike, the engine displacement of the Hero Karizma XMR 250 is 250 cc, a liquid-cooled engine, based on and first seen in the 2.5R Xtunt Concept. and features a fresh design. Compared to the Karizma XMR 210, it has updated bodywork, including a redesigned front fender, fuel tank, and tail section. However, some elements like the headlight and other parts will remain similar to the XMR 210.

While exact performance details are not available yet, the bike is expected to deliver more power than the XMR 210 and be on par with other 250cc motorcycles in the market. It will come with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, which helps in smoother gear shifts.

Also, the start type of the Hero Karizma XMR 250 is self-start, tubeless tires; the power produced by it is 30 PS; the torque available on it is 25 Nm; and the body style is of sports, likely referring to a “Standard” version of a model, i.e., STD.

The specifications on the hardware of this motorcycle are powered by a 250 cc engine, delivering a maximum power of 30 bhp and a peak torque of 25 Nm. It features a 6-speed manual transmission for smooth gear shifting.

The bike is equipped with USD front forks and a monoshock absorber at the rear, ensuring a balanced and comfortable ride. Safety is enhanced with a dual-channel ABS braking system and disc brakes on both wheels.

The digital instrument console includes a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, tachometer, and a gear indicator. It also has two digital trip meters for tracking distance.

While it lacks a touchscreen display, traction control, and cruise control, it does come with LED headlights, DRLs, an electric start, and a pass light for better visibility. The stepped seat design, along with a pillion grab rail and footrest, ensures passenger comfort.

Additional features include a TFT instrument cluster and height-adjustable clip-on handlebars for better riding ergonomics. However, it does not have front storage, under-seat storage, or a pillion backrest.

Hero is going to launch the bike officially very soon, likely within this month. Once it’s released, it will compete directly with other similar bikes in the market.
