Between April 1, 2024, and January 27, 2025, a total of 80.26 lakh forms were submitted on the MCA21 portal, compared to 73.29 lakh forms during the same period last year. This increase highlights the growing use of digital systems to simplify business processes in the country, as informed in Parliament on Monday.

Of these, 53.08 lakh forms were filed on the newly developed MCA21 V3 platform, up from 47.72 lakh in the previous year. This rise shows that more users are engaging with the system, and it remains reliable and efficient. Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Harsh Malhotra shared this information in a written response to the Lok Sabha.

MCA21 is a government initiative launched in 2006 to help businesses and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) with registrations and other official filings. Over the years, it has made company-related processes smoother and more accessible. The latest version, MCA21 V3, improves ease of use by introducing web-based forms that validate data instantly.

Users can also register on the system, track their applications, and download important documents such as challans and certificates. To further assist users, a live chat feature has been added, offering real-time support.

Security and privacy remain a top priority for the MCA21 portal. The system follows strict security guidelines set by government agencies and international standards like ISO 27001. Multi-factor authentication ensures that only authorized users can access the portal. Additionally, private information is masked from public view to protect user data.

With these updates, the MCA21 platform continues to improve, making business-related filings easier, faster, and more secure for companies across the country.
