SAMBALPUR, FEB 22
In a beautiful celebration of love and community, the Akanksha Ladies Club of JSW BPSL Sambalpur organized a grand mass wedding at BPSL Township on Friday. Twenty couples began their new journey together, surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers.
This event was more than just a wedding—it was a helping hand for underprivileged families. Many of the couples faced financial difficulties that made traditional weddings hard to afford. To support them, the Akanksha Ladies Club stepped in to make their special day possible.
Around 500 guests, including family members, township residents, local leaders, and village heads, attended the event to bless the newlyweds and celebrate their union.
Neelam Singh, President of the Akanksha Ladies Club, shared that the club is committed to helping communities. It has previously supported local weavers, provided medical aid, and helped educate underprivileged children. Organizing this mass wedding was another step toward spreading love, kindness, and unity.
