ROURKELA, NOV 27
Ten employees from various departments under the Centralised Mechanical (Maintenance) division at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were recognized for their innovative contributions at a ceremony held recently at the office of the Chief General Manager (CGM), Mechanical. The awards were presented under the ‘SAIL Shabash’ Scheme.
The awards were handed over by RN Rajendran, CGM (Mechanical), who lauded the employees for their creative efforts and encouraged others to follow their example.
A total of six employees from the FM(M) department, two from the MS(S) department, and two from the Transport department were honoured for their outstanding work. The awardees included E Xalco, Master Technician; BK Bain, Master Technician; A Singh, Master Technician; T Pradhan, Senior Technician; G Das, Master Technician; and C Choudhury, SSW, all from the FM(M) department. From the Transport department, PK Chhatar, Senior Operator (Automobile) and C Sharma, Senior Operator (Automobile) received the award. CS Sethy, Senior Technician from MS(S) and KK Tirkey, SSW, were also recognized.
The ceremony was coordinated by S. Kumar, DGM (Tech), CGM (Mechanical) Secretariat.
